Importance of Noor TV

It was 2006, to promote the message of love, peace and harmony, Shaykh ul Aalam Khwaja Pir Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui (Alayhi Rahma) expressed the intention to develop a community television channel, dedicated to the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaat consensus. Shaykh ul Aalam set-up the television channel and named it Noor TV (‘Noor’ meaning ‘light’ in Arabic).

Noor TV began live transmission in September 2006 and is now available in more than 130 countries worldwide, broadcasting on Sky Channel 739.

Objectives of Noor TV is presenting the good Islamic entertainment & knowledge based programmes to educate and conveying the peaceful Islamic values to the communities across the globe. Our programmes include Tasawwuf, Islamic Question & Answers programmes, Tafseer e Quran & Hadith, Seerah Programmes, news, Islamic personalities documentaries, Islamic entertainment drammas as well as renowned live Masnavi Lectures and various other programmes promoting peace, love and harmony.

Noor TV aims to attract a larger number of audiences. The channel aims provides a mixture of drama, documentary, entertainment and talk shows.
